I've had both my pre-op appointments. One sucked and the other hurt -_-  The first was to make sure my heart was okay. No secret, I've been fighting my blood pressure for months now. Well, it's starting to climb the charts again. I ran out of medication about two weeks ago now and it was the last week of the semester, aka, bad combination. The NP told me if it didn't come down they would cancel my surgery the day of!

Then I saw my doc/surgeon this week, and he said that it wasn't too high that morning. But I took my BP yesterday at Giant while waiting for another prescription. It was even higher than when I saw the NP!!!! >_< My sister thinks it was because I was pissed at the pharmacist when I took it. I hope she's right!! Also, the doc persisted in continually squeezing my shoulder and collar bone then asking "does this hurt?" NO MFer it feels good and I'm here because I want to get as many scars as possible  -_-

This afternoon I got a call saying they need to reschedule my surgery. It's now Wednesday instead of Thursday.... cause ya know, I wasn't already crunched for TIME!! These people tell me to take care of my self and all they do is add to the stress level.

Soooo, I sorta, kinda, but not exactly, 'brown nosed' today ^_^

We had the president of the Cherry Blossom Festival speak in class last night. It was very interesting hearing the development of the festival, their working conditions and partnerships. Several times during her presentation she said "contact me with ideas, we could always use help, etc."

So of course I did!! And sent my resume along for the ride ^_^ She claims they would really appreciate my assistance, to call at my convenience to discuss a few things and she looks forward to hearing from me!

FANTASTIC! w00t

But when should I call?!?? -_- I emailed her today and she responded within a few hours.
I don't want to seem like an over zealous dork or like a stuck-up ungrateful b***h by waiting too long!
